The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek & Big Diamond Speedway has canceled tonights series opener do to the pending forecast of severe, dangerous weather and heavy sustained downpours that is predicted for the area this afternoon and through the evening hours. In a effort to save the fans & teams travel expenses, we thought it was best to cancel early, rather then put everyone out in severe weather and in harms way.
Big Diamond Raceway has been great to work with and we're looking forward to the series being there in 2013.
With better weather on the horizon for tomorrow, the series will now head to Hagerstown Speedway with Pit gates opening at 4:30.
